Graduated from the School of the Arts in his home town of Penne in Abruzzo, Italy, Renato Ventoso went on to study architecture at the University of Pescara. He has always had a passion for photography and bought his first camera at the age of twelve. Having worked for well-known photographic agencies in Milan, he is experienced in stage work and in Black & White printing and has been a professional photographer since 1991.

Artist’s statement

I am always looking for new ideas. Projects grow day after day with new images. The projects are constantly evolving. My aim is not only to take good photographs, but to show work that provokes thought.
